Well Cathy and I had been running around to get all our paperwork Apostilled and Notarized in the summer. We submitted our Dossier to our agency Childrens Hope International, in early Sept. We really thought things were moving now, until we got a call from our agency.

This call stated that the translators in our region "Tver" in Russia noticed that our social worker had put the wrong address on all of our documents that she generated. Of course this sets us back and costs us $$. Cathy and I contacted our S/W and had her redo the docs and send them to us. We then notarized them and apostilled them and sent them on their way. No sooner did we send the redone docs out, then we had to redo two more. I plan on getting them Apostilled and Notarized and in the over night mail this weekend.

We have been studying the Russian Alphabet and trying to learn some words. Apparently we are #6 in line, 5 other families are in front of us. As of today, our agency contact has said everything is ago.

The only thing that bothers me right now, is the debate weather to bury Lenin or not. I do not know if any of you reading this are aware, but Lenin has been lying in state for 81 years. Currently the DUMA (read Russian Congress) are split as to weather officially bury him or keep him on public display in the tomb located in Red Square. I personally do not have a preferance, but many powerful leaders of the DUMA have said if they try to bury him, a civil war will break out. Of course I do not want that, so I am for leaving him right where he is for at least another year. The Russian government forks out 1.5 million Rubles to maintain him, his tomb and guards.

Until another update. Take care. Scott
